🌟 Earth Angels 🌟

One quiet afternoon, Momma leaned down beside me and whispered,
“Can you keep a secret?”

I looked up from my crayons and said,
“Sure.”

She smiled and spoke softly,
“Dear Daughter, I want to tell you about something wonderful.”

I leaned in close. “What is it?”

She said, “I want to tell you about Earth Angels.”

My eyes grew wide. “Earth angels? What are those?”

Momma sat down beside me and spoke gently,
“Earth angels are very special people. They are born to seek beauty.”

“Seek beauty?” I asked, tilting my head.

“It means,” she explained, “they spend their lives looking for ways to create love.”

I dropped my crayons and jumped to my feet.
I ran to the rock I had painted with tiny toads and held it up.
“Like this?” I asked. “I love frogs!” I exclaimed.

Momma smiled. “Yes, like that—just like that.”

Then I skipped over to our yellow table by a bundle of daisies in a jar.
I whispered, “Like these?”

Momma whispered back, “Yes, like those.”

“What do Earth angels do?” I asked, full of curiosity.

“They are guided by angels from Heaven,” Momma said.
“They are led by goodness, and in turn, they help guide others to do good too.”

I thought for a moment. “Does that mean... our whole family are Earth angels?”

Momma's face lit up. “Yes,” she said, “as long as they use their lives for good.”

She went on,
“Earth angels are people who serve others.
They bring joy to the world through food, art, laughter, kindness, and love.”

“Oh!” she added with a wink, “And let’s not forget—they create good memories too!”

I sat quietly for a moment, thinking.
“Will they ever leave me?” I asked softly.

Momma leaned closer and gently placed her hand on my shoulder.
“No, dear daughter,” she said.
“They are always with you.
They live inside your heart and give you ideas and feelings that lead you to do good things.”

I smiled. “Ahh! Like when you know someone’s birthday is coming and you try to think of all the ways to make them happy?”

“Yes,” Momma said, “It’s exactly like that.
And you can feel that way every day if you sit quietly and listen to your heart.”

She continued,
“Your angels will remind you with butterflies and snowflakes,
With wagging tails and warm smiles.
The secret is this: you’ll always feel protected when your angel gently reminds you to do what’s right.”

I gave Momma a big hug.

“And the reward for being an Earth angel,” she said with a twinkle in her eye,
“Is a very, very good life.”
