Tied sneakers

Life. It's a tight rope walk with a balancing pole -- to the right is love, joy and promise.

To the left is concern, heartbreak and worry.

The longer one lives, the more feels get hooked to it.

They can land on one side or the other, like a pair of tied sneakers flung over a power line.

I realize, my only job is to stay balanced during the journey.

Today it's confusion, triumph, frustration and determination.

I believe wisdom arrives just as we arrive to the end of our rope.

It's then and only then, when we can set down the load.

The words.

The human condition.

And.

Just.

Be.

O.K.
